Why do some songs not have the words or music available?
The vast majority of songs in Mission Praise Online are available. However, a few are currently not available as some individual copyright holders have not yet released their permission for us to use certain songs. It would be helpful to us to know the specific songs you are looking for, please email to let us know. We hope to have these songs available soon.
What are song lists?
A song list is simply a way to collect a number of songs together for easy reference. Some people create a songlist for each service or assembly; others use it as a way of storing their own favourites for quick access. You can make a songlist accessible to other members from your organisation so that other musicians can see your choices and download music before rehearsals. You can also make a playlist accessible to all users, sharing ideas of song combinations for services, seasonal ideas, or letting your choices help others explore new songs.
What happens when I subscribe?
When you subscribe you will need to either pay by credit card or register as an official church or school user and give details for your payment. You will need to give us your contact details and set a password for your account. Once you have paid you will have instant access to features. On the ‘Edit Profile’ function you can change your password to something more memorable, update any details and, if you have purchased a group subscription, you can add other members, giving them access to the site.
What am I allowed to do with the words or music I download?
If you have an individual subscription, you can download all you want for your own personal use. But if you perform, distribute or share the songs in any way you should seek the permission of the copyright holder. If you are a church, school or other organisation, you can report your usage under the appropriate CCLI licence. There is no limit to the amount of times or the amount of songs you choose to download but you need to report each song you use to CCLI.
